SEVR Broadheads Titanium 2.0

Hey OutWylders,

I want to share with you the broadhead I bow hunt with in Montana. SEVR Titanium 2.0. SEVR is a relatively new company (est. November 2016) entering an already crowed space. However, in the early broadhead development stages, SEVR consulted bowhunting legend, Randy Ulmer, to perfect a broadhead for both the western and eastern bowhunter that flies like a field or practice point, increasing the bowhunter’s confidence of hitting intended target.

SEVR broadheads are rear deploying at impact, then SEVR’s Lock-and-Pivot™ function allows the cutting blades to pivot around bone for the straightest and most-efficient penetration. When I first started bowhunting with SEVR broadheads the model that I chose was their Ti 2.1 (2.1” cut). However, in 2020 SEVR switched from Ti 2.1 to Ti 2.0 (2’’ cut) increasing penetration by 15%.  There are many broadhead options to choose from for both vertical bows and crossbows. These models include Ti 2.0, Ti 1.5, and AP 1.7 for vertical bows, and new in 2020 Robusto 2.0 for crossbows. Now, Ti 2.0 and TI 1.5 are available in 100 and 125 grains, AP 1.7 100 grains only, and Robusto 2.0 in 150 grains.

I really like the fact the titanium ferrule is long and aerodynamic allowing my arrow to efficiently cut through any wind during 40+ yard shots.

Some of the features I gravitated towards was the simple O-Ring that locks in the rear blades insuring against early in-flight blade deployment. Also, I really like the fact the titanium ferrule is long and aerodynamic allowing my arrow to efficiently cut through any wind during 40+ yard shots. Another feature is the ability to engage the practice lock set screw during practice sessions. I highly recommend practicing with the broadheads you hunt with. While in practice mode, the set screw locks in the rear blades not allowing them to deploy and dull during practice.

Now, with all those features it always comes down to performance. Pictured is a Pope and Young mule deer I harvested in 2019 with a SEVR broadhead. Enough said…

SEVR broadheads are purchased individually through their website, sevrbroadheads.com, available in quantities that meet your demands. Along with broadheads you can purchase replacement O-Rings, blades, archery targets, and branded merchandise.
